We collect several types of information from and about SellEzzy users (both business entities and individual end-users as applicable) to provide and improve our Services:

Account and Contact Information

When you register for SellEzzy, we collect information such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and password. If you are a business, we may also collect business identification details like your company's address or tax ID for billing purposes.

Catalog Content and Transaction Data

To enable your e-commerce operations, we store the content you input into the platform. This includes product catalogue information (product names, descriptions, prices, images, categories), inventory details, and any other content you add to your store or catalog. We also collect transactional data about orders placed through SellEzzy.

User Communications

If you communicate with us for support or feedback (via email or chat), we will collect those communications and any information you choose to provide. Additionally, if you utilize SellEzzy's integrations to communicate with your customers (e.g. through WhatsApp messages or emails sent via the platform), we may collect logs of those communications.

Usage Data & Device Information

We automatically collect information about how you and your customers interact with our Service. This includes technical information (IP address, browser type, device type, operating system) and usage details (dates and times of access, pages viewed, features used).

Cookies and Similar Tech

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience and gather analytics. Cookies are small text files stored on your browser. They help us remember your preferences and track usage of our site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Provide and Maintain the Service: We use personal and business data to set up your account, display your product catalogs, process orders, and enable the core functionality of SellEzzy.
• Facilitate Transactions: Order and payment information is used to facilitate sales and update you and the buyer about payment confirmations or failures.

3. Data Hosting and International Transfers

Primary Data Location (India)

SellEzzy's servers and main infrastructure are currently located in India, and by default, user data is stored on servers within India. Samurai Labs Technologies LLP is an India-based company, and we abide by Indian data protection laws.

EU/International Users

We also recognize that some of our users or their customers may be located in the European Union or other regions outside India. In order to better serve international customers and comply with GDPR, we may utilize data centers or cloud infrastructure in the European Union (EU) for storing personal data of EU residents.

4. Disclosure of Information (Sharing with Third Parties)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. However, we do share certain information with third parties in the following circumstances:

Service Providers

We employ trusted third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers")—for example, cloud hosting providers, email service providers, analytics services, and customer support tools.

Payment Processors

If you (or your customers) make payments through SellEzzy, the payment information is collected by our payment gateway partner (e.g., Razorpay). They will process the payment and may receive personal data such as the payer's name, billing address, and payment method details.

WhatsApp Integration

If you connect your SellEzzy store with WhatsApp to communicate with customers or share catalogs, we interact with the WhatsApp Business API. In doing so, we send content you choose and the customer's WhatsApp number to the API to deliver messages.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., law enforcement or government agencies).

5. Your Rights and Choices

We are committed to upholding your data subject rights under applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and India's emerging data protection regulations. Depending on your jurisdiction and the applicable law, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:

SellEzzy may offer AI-driven features to enhance your experience (such as generating catalog text or images). If you use an AI feature, the data you input might be sent to our AI models or to a third-party AI service solely for the purpose of generating the output you requested. We do not use that input data to train our public AI models, and we do not share it with any third parties beyond the AI processing provider needed to deliver the result.
